Common Questions
When does 3D printing make sense instead of machining?
When you need a prototype fast, the geometry would be expensive to machine, or you’re making fixtures, enclosures, or low-volume parts where machining doesn’t pay off. Since we do both in-house, we’ll tell you which process actually fits your part — not just the one you asked for.
What materials do you print in?
PLA, PETG, and TPU, covering everything from rigid prototypes to flexible, impact-resistant parts. Not sure which fits your application? Describe the part’s job and we’ll recommend one.
How fast can I get parts?
Most prototypes turn around in days, not weeks. Tell us your deadline when you reach out and we’ll let you know up front if we can hit it.
Can you recreate a discontinued or broken plastic part?
Yes — replacement and legacy components are one of our most common requests. Send us the part (even broken) or its dimensions and we’ll model and print a replacement.
