Automotive Services & Fluid Film® Undercoating

Professional rust prevention, undercoating, and automotive fabrication — all done in house at our Elkton, Maryland shop. Whether you’re protecting a daily driver or repairing structural damage, we handle it with the same precision we bring to industrial work.

What Is Fluid Film®?

Fluid Film® is a lanolin-based rust and corrosion inhibitor used by the US military, municipalities, and vehicle owners across the country. Unlike hard-shell undercoating products, Fluid Film® stays wet and self-healing — it penetrates existing rust, creeps into seams and cavities, and continues protecting even after application.

It’s non-toxic, non-solvent, and safe on all metals, rubber, and plastic components. One treatment goes a long way — most vehicles benefit from an annual application to maintain full coverage.

Why Fluid Film®?

Stays Active

Unlike rubberized coatings that crack and trap moisture, Fluid Film® remains fluid. It self-heals over minor scratches and continues to creep into new areas over time.

Penetrates Existing Rust

Fluid Film® doesn’t just sit on the surface — it penetrates existing corrosion and halts further oxidation. Effective even on vehicles that already show early rust.

Safe on Everything

Non-toxic, non-solvent formula is safe on all metals, rubber, plastic, and electrical components. No need to mask or remove parts before application.

Long-Lasting Protection

A single application provides protection through a full winter season. Annual treatment keeps coverage topped up and corrosion at bay year after year.

Trusted & Proven

Used by the US military, state DOTs, and municipalities for decades. One of the most widely trusted corrosion protection products available.

Environmentally Friendly

Made from natural lanolin — biodegradable and free of solvents, heavy metals, and harsh chemicals. Better for you and the environment than petroleum-based alternatives.

Structural Repairs

Welding and fabrication for corroded or damaged structural components — frames, crossmembers, floor sections, and more. Built to spec and shop-tested for durability.

  • Frame and crossmember repair
  • Floor pan and rocker repair
  • Rust repair and reinforcement

Our Work

Common Questions

How often should I get Fluid Film® applied?

Once a year is typical for most vehicles. Late fall before winter road salt season is ideal, but any time of year works. Vehicles in high-exposure environments may benefit from a mid-season touch-up.

Can it be applied to a vehicle that already has rust?

Yes. Fluid Film® penetrates and stabilizes existing surface rust rather than just coating over it. It won’t reverse structural damage, but it will slow or stop further progression on affected areas.

Will it drip or smell after application?

There may be a brief drip period immediately after application as excess product settles — this is normal and stops quickly. Fluid Film® has a mild, natural lanolin scent that dissipates within a day or two.

How long does the appointment take?

Most passenger vehicles take 1–2 hours. Larger trucks and heavy equipment may take longer depending on size and condition. We’ll give you a time estimate when you book.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my vehicle?

No special prep needed. Just bring it in as-is. We handle the inspection and application from start to finish.
